Sunday Outside

Sunday morning we decided that the weather was perfect for enjoying a day outside.

There are lots of great bike trails and parks near our church, so Wander loaded up the bikes in his truck before church. After church, he unloaded the bikes and we wandered the trails, eventually ending up at McDonald's for lunch. After lunch, we rode a bit more and ended up at a park for a birthday party that the girls had been invited to. Wander brought along his fishing gear and got a little fishing in as well.

It had been a while since we've all been on the bikes. As usually, Sparkle and I rode one bike, and Glitter and Wander rode the other. The bike trails wound through the neighborhoods, and were lined with trees. We watched squirrels scamper around and listened to birds chirping. It was so much nicer than aimlessly cruising the streets of our neighborhood. The curves and dips in the trail made Sparkle nervous, but Glitter squealed with delight at each bump and turn.
