doctor's office

We missed playgroup today to take Glitter to the doctor's office for her well child check-up. I'm sad we miss playgroup, but it's better than pulling her from preschool which we are actually paying for.

There is always a lot of waiting at the doctor's office, and I was loathe to skip another day of school this week. So I was armed with a clipboard, pencils, and various school supplies. Sparkle and I did school in the waiting room and the examination room.

Glitter passed all the tests with flying colors, except for, well, naming her colors. She can stand on one leg. She can do a broad jump. She recognizes pictures of a dog, cat, horse, and a person. She can climb stairs. She can draw a vertical line. However, when the doctor asked her what was the color of the blue pad on the examination table, Glitter confidently answered "Green." So we're still working on colors.

After the doctor's office I ran by the office supply store to pick up an index card file box with divider tabs.
