Driveway Play

When the weather is nice and I don't have to cook supper, I'll take the girls to the front yard in the afternoon to play until Wander comes home. Last Thursday was one of those days.

First they wanted to play jump rope. Sparkle understands the concept of twirling the rope and jumping over it, but hasn't mastered putting it all together yet. Glitter just likes to hold the rope and jump around.


Then Glitter got bored with the rope and got out sidewalk chalk, while Sparkle continued to try to tame the jump rope.


A few minutes later the jump ropes and chalk were forgotten and an old kick board was turned into a surf board surrounded by hula hoops of water.
