Fishing

Wander took Sparkle and Glitter fishing today at a local park that was recently stocked with trout.

The day begins.

Sparkle was a good steward of the Earth, throwing away garbage left by others.

There was a lot of standing around.

Then we moved to a different spot. And there was more standing around.

Sparkle had a hard time getting the trick of casting and reeling. She preferred to fish with a bobber and a worm. However, we didn't have any bait, so Wander improvised with some dried apple that he brought as a snack for the girls.

Wander did some fishing of his own.

Even Glitter had a turn holding the fishing pole.

Alas, the fish weren't biting for us. So, we headed over to the playground.
Wander hung out on a bench by the wagon for a bit.

Glitter played in the sand.

Sparkle, of course, went straight to the swings.

Then it was time to head home.
