We started watching after dropping Glitter off at preschool and a quick trip to the library. Sparkle and I snuggled on the sofa, warm and toasty, while we watched the people in the cold. We pretended to be part of the crowd, and stood when everyone stood, and sat when they sat. Sparkle made it through the swearing in, but in the middle of President Obama's speech started, she wandered off to make the American flag out of Lego.
I figure that was our social studies lesson for the day.
